Junior Accountant Test Assessment

Junior Accountant is an entry-level position in the accounting department. A Junior Accountant aids in accountancy, financial analysis, operational and administrative support. This is a hands-on position responsible for accurate booking keeping.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is to assist with preparing financial statements and support schedules according to corporate timelines. 
  • Assist with the monthly closing procedures. 
  • Prepare account reconciliations (cash, liabilities, fixed assets, payroll accruals) and support sub-ledgers. 
  • Research and resolve account reconciling items. 
  • Assist with documentation and testing of internal enterprise reporting system upgrades and modifications. 
  • Assist with the preparation of audit sampling packages for external & internal audits. 
  • Correct errors by posting adjusting journal entries. 
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups.    
  • Perform all bank reconciliations. 
  • Ensure that the billing and collection are adhered to and that financial data are steady. 
  • Support operational requirements and payments accurately and timely for all invoices for all entities.
