A credit manager is a person employed by an organization to manage the credit department and make decisions concerning credit limits, acceptable levels of risk and terms of payment to their customers. The role can be in a commercial or banking organization.
In companies, the role of Credit manager is variable in its scope. Credit managers are responsible for controlling bad debt exposure and expenses, through the direct management of credit terms on the company's ledgers, maintaining strong cash flows through efficient collections, monitoring the Accounts Receivable portfolio for trends and warning signs. Generally, they evaluate client's financial information to find out the credit-worthiness.
The credit manager needs strong communication as well as strong customer service skills since the job requires intense interaction with customers, attorneys, peers etc. Technical skills in financial statement analysis, risk analysis, and legal contract requirements are required.
The manager needs to make decisions on credit requests within authority limits and make recommendations on credit requests above existing authority.

These questions will indicate the quality of deductive reasoning and inductive reasoning which contribute to Critical thinking ability.

ABSTRACT REASONING
Abstract reasoning will indicate the ability to think clearly, identify logical patterns, learn new skills and solve complex problems. It is an indicator of fluid intelligence and shows an ability to strategize.
