The Challenge

Securian Financial Group prides itself on being one of the most trusted names in the insurance sector. It offers an array of insurance products to its customers. Insurance and Finance being a competitive market a lot depends on the employee's knowledge, understanding, awareness of market conditions to pitch their products to prospective customers and at the same time retain existing clientele as well.

Considering these parameters, the Learning and Development team at Securian wanted to design a training program that will equip their employees with the necessary skill sets. However, the team discovered that each employee had different levels of skill sets and hence the training program had to be designed keeping that in mind.

The Solution

Interview Mocha’s 1000+ ready to use skill library provided the much needed skill measuring scale. Apart from the pre-defined tests, Securian could also create tests on their own.

This helped their learning and development team to understand the skill level and knowledge of the employees. Securian could now decide on which training programs were suited for each employee. A customized training program enabled the employees to develop and enhance their skill sets which helped them to perfectly understand their customer’s requirements and delivering the best services.

Securian planned pre-training assessments twice a year. With Interview Mocha’s assessments, Securian has now managed a two-fold training plan -
